I can't talk on Pandion. It logins, it automaticly enters chat, and if I want to say anything, it doesn't send it, also I don't receive information what other ppl said. When I try to reenter the chat, I can't connect. PMs doesn't work too.

Pandion will not let me register. I am trying to register a new @pandion.im account and I get to the last step and then it says connection failure. I've tried turning off my firewall and it still won't work. What else could be causing this?

I am very new to pandion, but I have to say I LOVE this client. We are currently in the process of replacing IBM Sametime with an open source XMPP solution and so far, pandion is the best client we have seen.

Two features that would be great:

1. Ability to establish a chat with someone not on your roster
2. Ability to establish a group chat with someone not on your roster

If there is an opertunity to sponser the development of these features, please let me know as we are very eager to make pandion our enterprise solution.

How do you use the conference chat? I just have the regular Pandion from the Pandion home page. When I go to "Join a conference room" I do see a list of some public chats, but when I try to join any of them, it just keeps telling me "connecting." I have also attempted to create a room using muc.pandion.im and then just entering in a random room name, but again the conference room window opens and just keeps telling me "connecting." I'm wondering if the conference chat is even available to just regular public users? Thanks!

I'm getting "an updated version of this software is available: Pandion 2.6.106 Do you want to download this update"

I click the "Yes" box etc but I keep getting this mesg.

I checked and I am using ver 2.6.106. Is there any way to get this to go away?

Pandion does not seem to work with windows speech recognition. how do i enable this compatibility?

How can I set up all windows (chats, conferences, roster) in one window (like Tkabber and Gajim) ?

I can get the program built in VS 2010 but when I try to create the msi I get the following error from wix:

Where do I set this variable? Can I add it to the command line or the wixobj file

I have the Pandion client (latest stable) just about the way we want it for a corporate deployment. There is just one thing remaining though.. In a conference room, how can you stop a user left-clicking on one of the room occupants and initiating a private chat.

I'm sure I did it in 2.5 but can't for the life of my find it in the code for 2.6.x.

Background cannot be installed. The Download Backgrounds dialogue says Error:Cannot download backgrounds. The download on the specified resource has failed. I am behind a proxy for internet but it is auto detected by WPAD on my server. Could this be the problem? I have downloaded the background I want but am unable to see where to put it to install manually.

Some people who recieve individual msgs from me w/no problem, don't get my broadcast msgs. Any suggestions about how to fix this issue.

We are using Pandion in a corporate IM tool, and use Outlook for email, and have Openfire connected to Active Directory. Adding contacts is time consuming doing it manually, one at a time.

Is there a way to import contacts from Outlook?

I've successfully downloaded Pandion, but when I try to install it I get an error message that says I have insufficient privileges to install it for all users on my laptop. However, I am signed in as Admin and there are no other profiles on my machine! Can anyone help? I'm running Vista (grrr)

I need to recover messages from a hd (client) image file. Are all messages stored on "%appdata\Pandion\Profiles\u@server"?? how much time? Aren't they deleted? Its always in plain text? how can i know what is the other part in a conversation just having the .buffer file in Message Cache?
